The Transformation of the Maps:

From AdobeGIS to Adobe Illustrator

This is the very first base map we were given of the Preston Corridor. Here we see every single buidling labeled with a letter and number notation. Also, every group is marked with a different park. Washington Park is the big green black at the top and this shows Preston Avenue going in the direction of the Downtown Mall.
This second map was edited in AdobeGIS. Here I have taken out the colors of the other groups and only marked the area I was working in. Also I have taken out all of the letter and number notations for each buidling because it is distracting. This map is much more focused on group C and because the picture is less busy than the first, it is much easier to focus on group C.
Lastly, this map was the final which I used Adobe Illustrator to edit. This map is the least complex of the three. The purpose of this map was to have a reference that was simple to look at but helpful to the work we were doing. which was going out and looking at the different buildings throughout Preston.
