Walter Ross~ Five Modal Miniatures (Wind Quintet No. 4) |

This is one of the very few works I have written without a commission or direct request. I enjoy performing in and writing wind quintets, so I wrote this one for fun and dedicated it to my wife, Marion. It is in five short movements. Capriccio, Elegia, Intermezzo furioso, Pastorale, and Toccata.
