One of my earliest compositions for large brass and percussion ensemble, this work is atonally dissonant and highly rhythmic.
This is a "quilt" canzona; that is, a piece in several sections. The subtitle of the work is "The Exorcism," and it is based, section by section, on the poem "Night in Hell" b. Rimbaud.
