About Me

I am a graduate student in mathematics at the University of Virginia. I went to the University of Mary Washington as an undergraduate. I grew up outside of Harrisonburg, Virginia.


Research

I am currently doing my graduate study in contact topology and other notions in low-dimensional topology. I am interested in Stein fillings of contact 3-manifolds and techniques using Heegaard Floer homology.

My thesis advisor is Dr. Thomas Mark.


Teaching

I am teaching Calculus I in Spring 2012.
