My Health Economics Interests Present Work
  • Elizabeth Merwin, Bruce Dembling, Emily Hauenstein, Ivy Hinton, Lawrence Merkel, Stephen Petterson, Virginia Rovnyak, Melvin Wilson, and I are working on a NIMH funded project looking at how medical professionals decide where to live and how that affects quality of medical care. Preliminary Results from the Community Tracking Survey are available.
  • Elizabeth Merwin and I are working on a model of supply and demand of specialized nurses through Quantitative Health Care Solutions.
  • Dan Cox, Stephen Borowitz, Jim Sutphen, Boris Kovatchev, Lee Ritterband, Jennifer Kim Penberthy, Lynn Walker, and I are working on a NIH funded project on "Treatment of Early Childhood Constipation and Encopresis." My part is a cost-benefit analysis.
