Eleven subjects participated in Experiment 1, 8 males and 3 females. Age of the subjects ranged from 18 to 41. Six subjects reported having received 
years of training in playing a musical instrument, while the remaining five subjects reported no formal training in playing a musical instrument. All but two subjects reported being right handed.
