This section describes some of my activities in relation to professional associations and other organizations. The end of this page contains information and links to organizations of interest to clinical child and school psychologists.
I currently serve as the Treasurer of the Division and I invite you to learn more about Division 53 and the APA. The Division publishes the Journal of Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology which is included as part of a member's dues.

I serve as the past President of the Study of School Psychology. SSSP owns and manages the Journal of School Psychology (JSP). The Society provides research grants in school psychology and related areas and annually awards a prize of $2,000 to the best article publis hed in JSP.

Oakland School is a boarding and day school for boys and girls with learning disabilities, ADHD, and/or dyslexia who have average or above average abilities. Oakland School does not serve children with primary and severe emotional or behavioral disorders . Social/emotional skills enhancement and improvement of self-esteem is expected in addition to substantial academic gains. Students are typically enrolled for a minimum of two years. The ungraded curriculum covers academics through 9th grade. Most st udents return to mainstream education I have been involved with Oakland School since the founding of the residential program in 1967. I serve as a consultant to the school, and direct the psychological services program.
The school is located 11 miles east of Charlottesville, Virginia. A special 7-week education/summer camp program is offered each summer.
