I am a Professor emeritus in the Curry Programs in Clinical and School Psychology of the Curry School of Education. I served as Director our APA approved program in Clinical Psychology.
I have been on the faculty since 1967 and was responsible for starting the School Psychology and Clinical Psychology programs. In addition to my academic role I have been active in the Commonwealth's psychologist licensure process and in a variety of nat ional and state professional associations. My research and scholarship have related to two different areas: parenting and the effects of early familial experiences upon subsequent psychological and social adjustment of individuals; and psychological cons ultation in the schools emphasizing the relationship between teacher stress, teacher and child behaviors in the classroom, and teachers' judgments about children.
