This page once had directions on how to set up a basic
Home Page
But with the NEW - EASIER - HAPPIER menu driven way to get one, I felt that was the best way to get started :-)
All you have to do is go into your UNIX account and go to option (6) "System Customization" on UMENU. Then go to option (11) "Create your own home page". It does the rest for you !!
Now you should have a Home Page you can look at - just press the "OPEN" button on Netscape and type in your URL. It should be in this format...

{scheme}{ host domain }{path}{file name}
(Note - you don't need a file name to see a home.html)
Now all you have to do is go into your public_html directory and edit your home.html file to be more of what you want to see.
ITC offers classes on this if you would like to sit in on one at no charge. Give the Helpdesk a call at 924-3731 to ask about class schedules or you can check the schedule via the WWW at...
