new window on the full range of official statistical information available
to the public from the Federal Government. Use the Internet's powerful
linking and searching capabilities to track economic and population
trends, health care costs, aviation safety, foreign trade, energy use,
farm production, and more.

Information Locator Service (GILS) Database
The Government Information Locator Service (GILS) is a new way to identify, locate,
and describe publicly available Federal information resources, including electronic
information resources. GILS records identify public information resources within the
Federal Government, describe the information available in these resources, and assist in
obtaining the information. GILS is a decentralized collection of agency-based information
locators using network technology and international standards to direct users to relevant
information resources within the Federal Government.

GPO Access - offers
official information from all three branches of the Federal Government. Among the list of titles
available are the Federal Register, the Congressional Record,

- U.S. Supreme Court
- The Legal Information Institute offers Supreme Court opinions under the auspices of
Project Hermes, the court's electronic-dissemination project.
- U.S. Supreme
Court decisions, 1937-75 - Supreme Court decisions from the FLITE ("Federal Legal
Information Through Electronics") system. The file consists of over 7,000
Supreme Court opinions dating from 1937 through 1975, from volumes 300 through 422 of U.S.
Reports.
