Indicators for Foreign Policy Project |
The CIFP project, initiated by
the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade and Norman Paterson School of
International Affairs, represents an on-going effort to identify and assemble statistical
information conveying the key features of the economic, political, social and cultural
environments of countries around the world. Registered persons can query the CIFP
database in four ways:

| ICONS Research Library: Countries |
Project ICONS at the University of Maryland offers educational simulations of international relations at both the university and high school levels. Students at a participating institution represent the decision makers of a selected country and negotiate solutions to global problems via the Internet with peers around the world. The Country Research Library features links to general sites and to specific states, arranged by region. |
