Auditions will begin on August 15th, 2009. This is the first day you will arrive in Charlottesville. So that you come prepared to Band Camp to audition you are strongly encouraged to attend the Summer Pre-Camp scheduled for July 17-19, 2009 (See the Home page for more details). You will be evaluated throughout the days rehearsal on flag basics and your attitude towards the leadership and your peers. During your formal audition you will be asked to perform a 1 minute long self-choreographed piece. 50% or more must be flag work, the rest of the minute you may choreograph using flag, dance, weapons, etc. No music is required, but a CD player will be provided if you need it. You will only have 1 minute so please do not run over.
