29 New Academic Year Begins
HOLIDAYS:
All students go home during the June-July holiday. The school residences are closed during this and the long Winter vacation, December to February. At these times the school will assist parents in making travel arrangements through a local travel agent. The school cannot be responsible for students wanting to remain in Mussoorie. Late arrival at school after a vacation without previous notice may result in the loss of the student's place in the School.
ACTIVITY WEEK:
This is a compulsory school activity and parents cannot expect to use a as an opportunity to have their children home.
APPOINTMENTS WITH ADMINISTRATION:
by prior arrangement Mon. - Fri., except holidays. Weekend appointments for emergencies only.
QUARTER BREAK:
The school year consists of two semesters, each divided into two quarters. Between each quarter there is a short break (for details see the calendar). We do not advise students traveling outside of Mussoorie/Dehra Dun area during Quarter Break. If travel is necessary, a responsible adult chaperone must be provided. Parents are encouraged to come up to Mussoorie at these times and take their children out if this is practicable, although a full programme is arranged for children staying in boarding.
