Day 4 - Wed: Connemara & Kylemore Abbey
This morning travel around Connemara which is renowned for its misty mountains, the
Twelve Bens.
Drive through Spiddal, a village on Galway Bay where the Irish language is
still spoken.
Travel on through Maam Cross in the heart of Connemara to Clifden on the
Atlantic coast. Lunch at the resturant transformed from railway station there.
Visit the romantic 19th century Kylemore Abbey, now a girls' school.

Second night at Ardilaun House Hotel, Galway.
After dinner we go to a local pub, An Pucan, with
Irish traditional music and craic (though fright at
first song which was American country) sitting with an American woman
living in Cork, up with her Australian pilot and others for drink and music.
