Day 3 - Tue: Cliffs of Moher & Galway Bay
Drive through Ennis and along the Atlantic coast of County Clare.
Stop to view the
Cliffs of Moher, an impressive wall of rock that rises 700 feet above the pounding waves.
Journey through the Burren country,
a unique area of limestone hills where a wide variety
of wildflowers thrives.
The route takes you along part of scenic Galway Bay
(with lunch at an Inn) and
back into Galway city. Take a drive
around the city of Galway to see the principal sights including
Galway Cathedral and the Spanish Arch.
