Note: familiarize yourself with canning proceedures. Cook vinegar and sugar together for 5 minutes on medium heat. Add all other ingredients, bring to simmer, and simmer for 90 minutes or until it reaches a medium thick consistency, stirring often to prevent sticking. Sterilize 8 or 9 pint jars and lids.
