Guiding Questions

At the Summer Enrichment Program, we like to focus on the big questions. For the remainder of this course, you will be invited to ponder these questions:

  • How much freedom should individuals have to remix content that is posted online?
  • Should All Online Images (Videos, Music, etc) be released for Free Public Use
  • Should All Software be released with its Source Code?
  • Is Adobe Flash really OPEN?
  • Should Apple allow Flash on iPods & iPhones?
  • Will the World-Wide Web proceed to become more open? Less open?
  • And, on a more personal note...

  • Which is more important for you — designing a game mechanic or creating an aesthetic experience?
