The Fundamental Canons of Engineering Ethics provide for engineers to give proper credit for engineering work to those whom credit is due. Therefore, references should be cited on all written work to acknowledge the aid of other individuals and both published and unpublished references. It will be necessary to include a reference list when you submit each of your projects.

References Documentation of all references should follow the procedures given on pages 168-178 of:

Brusaw, Charles T., Gerard J. Alred, and Walter E. Oliu, Handbook of Technical Writing, 5th Edition.  New York: St. Martin's Press, 1997.

This text is required for all students taking TCC 101.   If you are not taking this course, you are still responsible for following these procedures.  Therefore, get a copy or borrow one from one of your fellow students.
