Attendance
in my sections of ENGR 162 is rigidly enforced.
Everyday I will hand out a sheet with each student's name
on it. The student will be required to initial the
line by his/her name. If your name is not initialled,
you will be marked as absent. (At the end of the
term, I will not be able to tell whether you were in class
on a particular day if the grade sheet was not initialled.)
The majority of the instructor's evaluation of your grade
will be based upon your attendance record.
Therefore,
it is imperative that you come to class. If for
some reason (and it better be good) you cannot attend
class, you must e-mail me the day before and explain
why.
So,
make sure you are in class . . . and come on time.
