The Main Event Stakeholders

West Main Street serves as a main corridor that connects the students of UVA and the residents of Charlottesville.  Hotels, restaurants, stores and community gather places can be found along West Main Street.  The proposed event, called the Main Event, which will close West Main Street on Sundays, will allow the community to engage in fun physical activity while interacting with all members of the community; thus, encouraging a healthier lifestyle at the same time as meeting their neighbors.  One particular concern about closing the widely-utilized street is the stakeholders along the street; this includes the hotels, restaurants, stores and community gathering places along West Main Street.  Below is a map of the stakeholders that are open on Sundays and their locations.  A comprehensive list of all stakeholders, ones who are open and ones who are closed are listed below as well.
