Description-Training Program
Fall:
- Report before school starts to work preseason practices and help
in the equipment fitting process
- UVA will provide housing and meals for preseason practices
- Work practice for 2 hours once a week
- Work on the sidelines for home games
- Written and hands on test of your knowledge from the learning
sessions
- Work Bowl Game practices while team is in Charlottesville
Spring:
- Work practice for 2 hours once a week during Spring Football
- Work all scrimmages
- Work Spring Game in Scott Stadium
Student Equipment Manager Job
Description-Full Time
Fall:
- Report before school starts to work preseason practices and help
in the equipment fitting process
- Assist Coaching Staff, Equipment Staff, and Training Staff with
the organization and operation of all practices and scrimmages
- Maintain safe practice and game equipment weekly
- Prepare game equipment for home and away games
- Assist Coaching Staff, Equipment Staff, and Training Staff with
the organization and operation of all home, away, and bowl games
- Maintain and increase your knowledge of football equipment
Spring:
- Assist Coaching Staff, Equipment Staff, and Training Staff with
the organization and operation of all practices, scrimmages, and the
Spring Game in Scott Stadium
- Assist Coaching Staff, Equipment Staff, and Training Staff with
the organization and operation of winter work outs
- Maintain safe practice and game equipment weekly
- Maintain and increase your knowledge of football equipment
