Interdisciplinary Committee
The Psychology Department has seven areas. Communication among them is
insufficient. The IC is designed to foster communication between these
areas, consideration of interstitial topics that seem to belong to no area,
and communication between psychology and other disciplines. One means for
achieving this has been a week of Recombinant Lunches during which other
lunches are suspended, each run by volunteers from different areas who would
like to see a topic reviewed. They have taken various formats, but the most
common is a series of brief talks or debates.
