I've been a math PhD student at UVA since 2014. My interests are in abstract homotopy theory and category theory. In particular, my research involves Cisinski model categories, simplicial sets, and 2-Segal objects.

In 2014, I received my B.A. from Hampshire College where I studied math and physics. I did an undergraduate thesis with Jim Henle, who is a set theorist at Smith College.

I like to play piano and watch Ozu movies.

My advisor is Julie Bergner

Preprints:

Every 2-Segal space is unital (with Richard Garner, Joachim Kock, May Underhill-Proulx, and Mark Weber) arXiv:1905.09580
