Matt Feller's Homepage

I've been a math PhD student at UVA since 2014. I'm currently on leave and living in the Boston area while I work on research.

My interests are in higher category theory. In particular, my research involves quasi-categories, 2-Segal sets, and model structures on the category of simplicial sets.

In 2014, I received my B.A. from Hampshire College where I studied math and physics, though I attended many classes at Amherst College along with some classes at UMass Amherst and Smith College. I did an undergraduate thesis with Jim Henle, who is a set theorist at Smith.

I like to play piano and watch Ozu movies.

My advisor is Julie Bergner
