Previous Courses Taught
During the Fall 2002 and Spring 2003 semesters, I was a TA for MATH 231 and 132.
Here is a summary of my student evaluations. [pdf]
Outreach
- Coach for the American Mathematics Competitions and Virginia Mathematics League at Charlottesville High School, Fall 2007 - Spring 2008.
- Sonja Kovalevskaya High School Mathematics Day, April 2007, UVA - What Can I Do With a Math Degree? Presented uses of mathematics in a variety of jobs for female high school students in order to encourage their pursuit of mathematical careers.
- Girls and Mathematics Summer Program, August 2006, UVA - Careers and Mathematics. Facilitated a fun and lively discussion of the uses of mathematics in various careers for elementary school girls with potential interest in mathematics.
- Math Club, Spring 2006, UVA - Careers in Mathematics. Created and delivered a presentation on employment opportunities for Math majors/minors and the universal use of mathematics in the real world.
- Wisconsin Center for Academically Talented Youth (WCATY) - Teaching Assistant in Math for the Accelerated Learning Program (grades 5 - 8), July 2001.
