With the PCT thru-hike I am raising funds for the promotion of environmental awareness in our youth via PEAK program and the Leave No Trace organization. I have independently visited several elementary, middle, and high schools with programs to promote safe outdoor recreation, nature exploration, and environment conservation prior to the thru-hike. I have plans to continue these school visits after the hike as well.
Any donation will be greatly appreciated.
For a fun twist on donations, you may donate on a per mile basis. This year, considering an illness that took me off the trail for 1 1/2 months, I will only be hiking 1600 miles of the Pacific Crest Trail. [The remaining 1063 miles will be concluded next summer (2007), and are not included here.]
