In May 2013 I received my Ph.D. in mathematics from the University of Virginia. I spent my graduate career teaching numerous calculus classes and researching algebraic topology. I am particarly interested in equivaraint stable homotopy theory.
I wrote my disseration under the guidance of Mike Hill. It details a computable equivariant symmetric monoidal structure on the category of Mackey functors under which Tambara functors are the equivariant commutative monoids.
Prior to UVA I was an undergraduate at Lafayette College (2004-2008), and I grew up outside of Syracuse, NY.
My CV can be found here , or if you prefer, my resume can be found here.
I am mighty excited to rejoin the Lafayette College family as a Visiting Assistant Professor in the mathematics department for the 2013-2014 academic year!
