Perth, Western Australia- Studying the Western Swamp Tortoise
I arrived in Perth at the beginning of August and started work with Gerald Kuchling at the University of Western Australia studying the Western Swamp Tortoise (Pseudemydura umbrina). I have found many adventures in addition to turtles, including watching Aussie Rules Football, adapting to the winter climate, and driving on the "other side" of the road!
