Up the Northern Coast of Western Australia:

Time for an adventure away from Perth and on a backpacker's bus trip up the northern coast. Six days and 1,500+ kilometers up to Exmouth and Ningaloo Reef:

First stop: The Pinnacles
These limestone formations were exposed when sand eroded away
First beach stop: Hangover Bay
Huge sand dunes
Sand boarding
Kalbarri coastal gorges
First sunset on the coast
Day Two: Kalbarri National Park
Hiking in the gorgeous gorges
Lots of driving....the empty road stretches ahead
Shell Beach
Shell Beach earns its title!
Arriving in Denham late
Day Three: Monkey Mia- the crowd gathers to see...
Dolphins!
One swims in close
Sailing on a catamaran
The group on the catamaran
Hamelin Pool- Filled with stromatolites, cyanobacteria that dominated life billions of years ago and released oxygen which led to the rise of air-breathing forms of life
Day Five: Driving into Exmouth on Charles Knife Canyon Road
Not raccoons in the trash, but emus!
Caught in the act!
An orphaned kangaroo

So where are the pictures from Coral Bay (Day 4) and Ningaloo Reef (Day 5 & 6)? They were taken on a disposable underwater camera and I will post them when I get access to a scanner. So stay tuned!
