Nobel Laureate physics Professor Robert Richardson (Cornell) wows undergraduate during his visit to UVA (11-7-97). Professor Richardson gave a fascinating talk to undergraduates and graduate students on the Nobel Experience. In particular, he considers the eight day Nobel celebration the "greatest party in the world". But he could hardly wait for things to settle down so that he could get back to teaching freshman physics! At the reception afterwards, the delightful Richardson latched on to several of our undergraduates and wouldn't let them go until he was dragged away to his next seminar.
