Glenn Canyon Recreational Area

Coming into the canyon from the west you pass through miles of a narrow canyon with beautiful formations and color. Note in particular the beautiful weather patina ("varnish").

While primarily a water sports area, the Glenn Canyon area is absolutely beautiful. These photos do not do justice to the colors.
