Visit of Bill Pitts (Bristol Myers Squibb)

Bill regaled graduates and undergraduates with his stories of life in the pharmaceutical industry as well as drug discovery and development. Bill took his Ph.D. degree from UVA in 1990 working with Professor Richard Sundberg. He was a practicing pharmacist before he took up chemistry and still works as one part time.

Typical Bill poses and expressions. The pleasure of the students over the conversation and the pizza is obvious.
