Shots from the Construction of our New House
The house was built by Abrahamse & Company. It is located on a partially wooded lot within a mile of the Crozet exit of I64, about 12 miles from Charlottesville. We broke ground in July 1998 and moved in in late March 1999.
View of the rear. This side faces the Blue Ridge Mountains. The siding is redwood with a transparent, red-tinted stain that lets the grain show through.
View of the front. This area has since been cleaned up to make room for the driveway.
