Go Back to TRUCKS ______________Go Home ____________BELOW: John's TC4 on 5/07:

The first track at Fontaine, the beginning of a slow evolution starting with an oval: (All tracks run counter clockwise unless noted)

A fast and wild straight right in front of you. It changed shape over the day and the loop at #9 and #11 got smaller.

Fontaine SMOOTH track. Rodney and John went round and round right next to each other. Dave said it needed some faster straights:

Euro-track, copied from Nitro Championships in France: We haven't run this exact layout as of 5/24 but see the next track.

Small simplified version of Euro-track that we liked running pretty well:

Small due to full-scale cars parked in the way but good racing- requires setup with good steering (Dave moved his front shock arms in)

We've never run this one, which has the most possible sharp turns:

Dave's Chicane- after John's track design slammed first him and then Rodney into a parked bus to break shock towers and a-arms,

Dave came up with this great layout that is completely under the streetlight for night driving: 5/24/07

Steve's chicane: 5/26, 28 /07 with Ig and John. Front lot of Fontaine, where drivers have a little shade! The initial chicane across

the front- left to right- is uphill and the final straight directly towards drivers is across and down the hill.

6/12/07

Thunder, ligntning and pouring rain at 4pm, dry by 5, more rain at 9 but we got in 3 1/2 hours of tight-as-tick racing. Dave, Rodney and I had one 10 lapper where we were all right together the whole time. Here's Dave's technical track design, with a long down hill run from A to B and then all those turns coming back up. Right hand track (easier than rotating our tires).

Pushing me to be a better driver track: Dave stayed about 3 feet behind me 'pushing' as I tried to be consistent. My times when consistent were about 16.3, his were 14.7 . This is a good track either direction 7/10/07

7-17-07 Here's Dave's drawing of the correct LINE after we ran this track for over 3 hours. When I used this

way around the lower left turn my speed was better on the whole bottom of the track.
