Brown's sloping 98-99

11/1/98 Doug Barry and FunOne on Brown's

Crimora Fire 11/1/98 (north of Waynesboro). 2 square miles burned but the fire never got closer than 1/2mile to any structure. Probably arson. Photo taken from Brown' s Mt., 22 miles East, right after a helicopter dropped water and caused a large steam thunderhead on the right. The next weekend Millard and John were at the BRASS field and watched a chopper drop load after load on the still smoldering fire and finally put it out.
