site is ostensibly intended as a supplement to "The Gate of Heavenly
Peace", a documentary on the protest movement of 1989. In fact, it opens
doors to a host of other material on the history of Tiananmen square, the
Chinese democracy movement, and multifold aspects of modern Chinese
history.
