Directions to Rip and Tracy Verkerke's

From downtown Charlottesville:  Take Ivy Road (Rt. 250) heading west out of Charlottesville.  About three miles past the entrance to the Boar's Head Inn, you will pass an Exxon station on the right, Ivy Corner Nursery on the left, and drive under a railroad overpass.  Immediately afterwards, turn right onto Owensville Road.  Go one mile and turn right onto Holkham Drive.  (Overhanging foliage currently hides the street sign from view.  Look for a right turn lane as you approach the intersection and a small sign for our subdivision Lewis Hills III on the far side of the street.)  Go 300 hundred yards and turn left onto Holkham Lane.  Our house is #2592 on the right with a large garden bed in front.  Please park on the circle.  Call Rip or Tracy at 977-0565 if you get lost.

Alternate Route from Garth Road:  Follow Barracks Road and Garth Road west past Foxfield and Hunt Country Corner.  About 1 mile past the Foxfield entrance turn left onto Owensville Road.  (The turn is in the middle of a curve but quite well marked.)  Follow Owensville road for about 1 1/2 miles and pass Meriwether Lewis Elementary School on the right.  Continue for just under one mile and then turn left onto Holkham Drive.  (The turn is just after the entrance to the Blue Ridge Swim Club.  The road is fairly wide and well marked.)  Now go 300 hundred yards and turn left onto Holkham Lane.  Our house is #2592 on the right with a large garden bed in front.  Please park on the circle.  Call Rip or Tracy at 977-0565 if you get lost.
