James Harrigan is a Professor of Economics at the University of Virginia, and a Research Associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER).

Until August 2008 James Harrigan was an economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and an Adjunct Professor of Economics at Columbia University.
