Robin Catalano uses Auger Electron Spectrocopy and X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy to analyze the chemistry of her samples.

Yingge spent time during both the summers of 2003 and 2004 working at the Environmental Molecular Sciences Laboratory within Pacific Northwest National Lab, synthesizing metal oxide nanostructures. Robin worked there during April and May of 2004, conducting similar research.
