The School of Engineering is located near UVA's "Central "Grounds" (=campus) in the area designated as "G -McCormick Road Area" below:
The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering is located in the C and E wings of Thornton Hall (labeled "Engineering School" in the figure below). My office is Room E-223. It is about where the "oo" in the word "School" falls (between the map's numbers 29 & 34).
If we arrange it in advance, I may be able to get you a parking pass for the ECE Department's visitor parking slot near the stadium. The location is just off the left edge of the map above and shown in detail in the map below. The parking lot entrance is on Whitehead Road, a short connector between Alderman Road and Stadium Road. The parking spot is #150, which is stenciled on the asphalt (there is also a sign saying the spot is reserved for the ECE department - but it tends to get lost in the bushes of the surrounding hedge).
