| Abstract : This is a short talk intended to students studying differential equations. We provide an example of a PDE where solutions blow up in finite time. We prove that the solutions of an initial value problem for nonlinear Schrödinger equation on a bounded interval blows up in finite time under an assumption on the nonlinearity. |
