That colorful ribbon toward the top left corner of this map marks the coastline of the Lleyn Peninsula in Wales, and it marks, as well, the Lleyn Peninsula Coastal Path. The walk starts in Caernarfon, at the top end, and goes for almost 100 miles with the sea on the right. Off the tip of the peninsula is Bardsey Island. An added attraction of the route is the fact that it follows, more or less, the route taken by pilgrims many centuries ago on their way to Bardsey.
