The Haidt Lab -- Joining the Lab
If you are a UVA Undergraduate interested in doing research with us:
Please print out a lab application form and bring it to the "red room" (034 Gilmer Hall)
If you are a prospective graduate student thinking of coming to UVA for a Ph.D.:
Please read some of Jon Haidt's published articles, and look into the other members of the Social Psychology area. (We have a very strong and very collegial area, including: Tim Wilson, Jerry Clore, Bobbie Spellman, Stacey Sinclair, and Brian Nosek). If you think we are a good fit for you, then by all means apply! Feel free to contact Jon directly beforehand, to talk about the program. Please note: we get 40-60 applications per year and we generally admit only 5-7 people. In general successful applicants have GRE scores in the 700's or high 600's and strong letters of recommendation.
