| There will be list on the inside of the building on the wall
with the names of authorized persons to pick up the money. If you do not know
the person ask for an ID. If the person is not on the list give Neil or
Darlene a call. Do not give the money to anyone not on the authorized list
without checking because everyone picking up money should be on that list.
Someone will come by at the end of each shift to pick up the sales sheet and
the money |

| Spread
out scout coverage across shifts if at all possible |

| We
need at least one adult supervisor on site at all times. Adults handle monies at all times |
|
|
|
|
|
| Warm

| If
adult supervisor can't make shift then they need to contact another adult for
backup coverage. |

| Each
shift needs an adult or someone who can 1) saw tree bottoms, 2) haul trees,
3) put trees on top of cars, 4) tie trees down |

and saw provided |

| Bring
snacks, water, hot thermos liquids. |
|
|
|
|
| Please
add a note about how helper hours will only count towards a Scout if that
helper is actively working to sell trees, or is actively supporting the
Scouts in selling trees. Being out on
the lot sawing tree-trunk bottoms, handling money, moving trees, sweeping and
cleaning up the sales lot, placing trees on top of cars, checking that the
trees are properly tied to cars, keeping the boys focused and motivated,
etc., all count as being actively supportive.
Sitting in a car does not. |
