Features

NASA uses photographs of Western Albemarle High School's ARISS contact.

Thanks to Rosalie White (K1STO) of the ARRL, photographs of the WAHS contact with the ISS were used in a NASA brochure designed to build interest in the program in schools across the USA. Stacey Mills (W4SM) set up the station and Matt Bisgaier (KF4TKJ) assisted as control operator. Click here to see the brochure cover.

Click here to see the complete series of photographs.

You don't need a TNC !!

By combining the programs "AGWPE Packet Engine" and "UI View" you can watch packet activity from home and send and receive APRS messaging. Find out how here. . .

AARC Phone Tree Online

The AARC Phone Tree is used during ARES call ups and other emergencies to reach members. If called during an emergency, follow the arrows from your name and phone those contacts. If any of these contacts are not available, you must phone the people that they would have phoned. Click here for a printable PDF file of the AARC Phone Tree (300K file).
