Another classic! This lecture deals with equivalence, but first it introduces the notion of moment calculations and specifically couple moments. There is a derivation right in the middle on why the couple moment is independent of the point around which we calculate it (hint: it’s only a function of the relative position vector between the two forces composing the couple). Anyway, it’s a good one and well worth the time…
