Lecture 3 podcast

Today we looked at some vector mechanics, and probably the most important concept to come out of today is this: each component of the vector has a very specific physical meaning…a meaning which gives you clues about how to check your work. The two problem we did in class both had some built-in mechanisms to evaluate whether your solution was correct. I strongly encourage you to keep these ideas in mind as you do the HW and move through the more complicated topics in this course.
