The class has spoken. The exam will be on Tuesday 11/13 from 7-9 pm. The location is TBD. Guidelines:
- The content of the exam is: Ch. 5 (all), Ch. 6 (all EXCEPT Sec. 6.5 Space Trusses), and Ch. 7 (shear and moment only).
- You can bring one sheet of 8.5 x 11 paper, with writing on BOTH sides. Start constructing your sheet now.
- Please bring a pencil, eraser, and calculator.
- There will be at least 4 questions, perhaps 5. I’m not sure yet.
- I will separately email you a bunch of PDFs of problem solutions for these chapters.
Use this as an open thread if you have further questions.

is the exam going to consist of questions from the text or will you be making them up yourself?

Does anyone know if we will be having any official review sessions? If not do a group of you want to meet up sometime tomorrow? I’m free anytime after statics is done…..we could just meet at stacks if you’d like.

The questions on the exam will be either: (i) directly from our book, or (ii) from a previous edition of this book. As such, the artwork and spirit of the problems will all be the same.
