HigherEd 2.0

As promised in class on Wednesday, here it is. A word of warning (and interest): I didn’t work out the solution ahead of time, so this is live real-time problem solving. As such, I make two mistakes in the solution which I take the time to correct. I guess there’s a lesson here: making mistakes is not a problem, not catching those mistakes is where the trouble starts. I’ve done tons of these problems, and I still make lots of mistakes. But as a result of lots of practice, I am able to catch my mistakes and (perhaps more importantly) track those mistakes down quickly. This is a skill which is very experiential, and it only really comes with practice. So….practice!
