The material on cross products in this one is on the one hand pretty straight forward and intuitive. Moments/torques take translational forces (push or pull) and turn them into rotational action. Easy enough. But on the other hand, the mathematical formulation of moments using cross products can be a bit confusing. So I encourage you to spend just a bit of time with this module, especially the discussion of the physical nature of the terms in the cross product. Then on Wednesday we will continue this discussion of the utility of cross products and moments for structural analysis.

I missed class on Monday.
Is there any particular problem I should look into?
Thanks
