Student solutions to Prob. 3-38

September 13th, 2007 · 1 Comment

This is the problem we looked at in lecture on Sept. 12 (Module 7). We had some good discussion in class, talk about it a bit, and then I received several students solutions. They all look pretty good. You can see them here, here, here, and here. If you really like one of these, feel free to leave a supportive comment to its author…and check back again as I am expecting at least one or two more.

Update:

Here’s one more. And one more.

Hi, I’m crashing the party a little bit. Sorry to interrupt …

I’m Dan Heuchert, a writer with the University’s Media Relations Office who is working on a piece about Mr. Berger’s novel approach to teaching, and I would like to ask y’all some questions. Since I’m not a regular here, could you respond via e-mail? My e-mail address is danh@virginia.edu.

    1. Have you ever taken any courses that make similar interactive use of the Web?

    2. Is this helpful to you? In what ways?

    3. How comfortable did you feel with the technology when Mr. Berger introduced it? Are you more comfortable with it now, or is it still a factor that must be overcome?

I may have some other follow-ups that I’ll ask via reply mail, but that should enough to start with.

I now return you to your regular programming, already in progress. Thank you!
